Production Engineer

Job Description

As a Production Engineer in Cape Town, you will play a key role in facilitating the smooth operational flow in our manufacturing plant. You will collaborate with various teams to implement effective engineering principles and technology, further enhancing our production capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency.
• Evaluate production methods and develop strategies for improvement.
• Troubleshoot production issues and reduce downtime.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to maintain standards.
• Manage production schedules and resource allocation.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste.
• Train and mentor junior engineering staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
