DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team in Cape Town. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms and experience in CI/CD practices. You will work collaboratively to streamline our deployment processes and improve system reliability, playing a vital role in our technology advancements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve deployment speed and reliability.
• Conduct system audits and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate in agile project management methodologies.
• Monitor application performance and uptime, responding to incidents as needed.
• Assist in the design of systems for disaster recovery and high availability.
• Maintain and improve existing infrastructure and configurations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
