We are seeking a passionate Dance Instructor to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will bring creativity and expertise in various dance genres, from ballet to hip hop. Your role will involve teaching dance techniques, choreographing performances, and inspiring students of all ages to develop their skills and love for dance.

Responsibilities

• Encourage creativity through innovative lesson plans and choreography.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration during group dance activities.
• Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Lead dance-related community outreach programs.
• Manage class schedules and student attendance records.
• Collaborate with administrative staff for event planning.
• Serve as a mentor to junior instructors and student teachers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Arts or Physical Education
• Master's degree in Dance is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in teaching dance

• Public Speaking

Certifications

• Advanced Dance Instruction Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
