Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Allied Health Therapist to join our Durban-based team. This role involves working closely with patients to create and implement personalized therapy plans based on their unique needs. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Identify patient needs through assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups and individual sessions.
  • Monitor and report on patient progress in therapy.
  • Develop community outreach programs to promote health awareness.
  • Ensure timely documentation and compliance with professional standards.
  • Advise on physical adaptations for home management.
  • Provide mentorship to junior therapists and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • Certification in specific allied health services is a plus
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience as an allied health therapist
