Job Description

As a Ripsaw Operator at Timber Solutions, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining our ripsaw machinery. Your role is crucial in ensuring we achieve production targets while upholding the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate the ripsaw machine to cut and process timber as per production requirements.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
• Ensure all safety measures are adhered to while operating machinery.
• Measure and inspect finished products for quality assurance.
• Adjust saw settings as required to achieve desired cuts and specifications.
• Assist in troubleshooting machinery issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain a tidy and hazard-free work area.
• Work collaboratively with other operators to optimize production processes.
• Document all production activities and maintenance performed.
• Assist in the training of junior staff on equipment operation and safety.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent

Experience

• No previous experience required; training will be provided.

Languages
