Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a Mechanical Engineer eager to make an impact in our Johannesburg office. You'll be involved in all aspects of project execution, from initial design phases to implementation, while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Evaluate costs and prepare budget estimates for projects.
• Implement quality assurance processes in engineering design.
• Assist in the development of new materials and processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns within the team.
• Ensure all engineering work is documented adequately.
• Manage risks and resolve project-related issues swiftly.
• Deliver final project reports and presentations to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or design

• MATLAB
• Finite Element Analysis

Languages

• English: Fluent
