Responsibilities

• Manage surgical and medical cases with a focus on quality care.
• Evaluate diagnostic findings and offer treatment plans.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex medical cases.
• Conduct follow-up appointments and monitor recovery.
• Educate pet owners on home care and grooming practices.
• Develop and participate in veterinary health awareness campaigns.
• Ensure inventory of medical supplies is stocked and maintained.
• Provide mentorship to junior veterinary staff.
• Engage with local community initiatives for animal welfare.
• Attend veterinary conferences and events to stay current in the field.

Requirements

Education

• BVSc or equivalent veterinary qualification
• Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary surgery or medicine would be advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in small and large animal practices preferred

• Anesthesia Management

Certifications

• Certified in Veterinary Acupuncture (preferred)
• Advanced Surgical Skills Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
