Job Description

As a Social Services Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting community members to navigate social services and access necessary resources. You will work closely with individuals to assess their needs and develop personalized support plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the research and development of new programs to better serve the community.
• Develop partnerships with other organizations to improve service delivery.
• Promote awareness of social services through community engagement.
• Document and analyze service outcomes for reporting purposes.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines in all interactions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
• Master's degree in Social Work is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in social services or community outreach

• Knowledge of Social Services

Certifications

• Certified Social Worker (CSW)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Fluency in another local language: Preference for candidates fluent in local languages besides English.
