Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic health issues in patients.
• Provide preventive care and health education to patients.
• Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on best practices and emerging healthcare trends.
• Support and guide nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in South Africa

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in community health settings: Knowledge of public health principles and community care models.
• Bilingual in Afrikaans or Xhosa: Ability to communicate in multiple languages to better serve patients.
