Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Veterinarian to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. As part of our practice, you will provide comprehensive veterinary care to a diverse range of animals, from household pets to farm livestock. Your role will involve diagnosing health issues, providing treatment plans, and advising pet owners on proper care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate animal health through physical examinations and diagnostic testing.
  • Oversee the implementation of vaccination programs and health check-ups.
  • Perform surgical interventions and manage post-operative care.
  • Educate clients about animal nutrition, wellness, and preventive healthcare.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.
  • Participate in staff training and development initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a specialized field is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in veterinary services.
