Job Description

As a Dentist with us, you'll be instrumental in promoting good oral health practices within the community of Johannesburg. You will diagnose and provide dental treatment, with the opportunity to mentor junior staff and engage in community outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex dental procedures and surgeries as required.
• Maintain a sterilized and safe work environment.
• Assess patient treatment outcomes and make adjustments as necessary.
• Provide mentorship and training for junior dental staff.
• Participate in dental health campaigns and initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or equivalent
• Continuous Professional Development (CPD) credits

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a private practice setting

Technical Skills

• Cosmetic Dentistry
• Pediatric Dentistry

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Leadership

Certifications

• Sedation Dentistry Certification
• Infection Control Training Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Training in orthodontics: Experience or training in providing orthodontic treatments.
• Fluency in multiple languages: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus for patient interaction.
