Job Description

As a Data Analyst at our Johannesburg office, you will play a crucial role in our data-driven strategy. You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to help the company meet its operational goals. Strong proficiency in analytical tools and communication skills will be key in this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data management and governance to ensure data integrity.
• Perform data cleaning and transformation to prepare data for analysis.
• Evaluate existing data collection processes and recommend improvements.
• Contribute to establishing best practices for data analysis and reporting.
• Train other team members in data tools and methodologies as necessary.
• Engage in periodic reviews of analytical tools and software updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field
• Master's degree in Data Science is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years in data analysis with a strong understanding of data visualization tools

Technical Skills

• Tableau or Power BI

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent
