Seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our thriving workshop in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, experience in vehicle repairs, and a commitment to providing quality service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test vehicle systems and components to diagnose and repair malfunctions.
• Conduct test drives to verify repair work and ensure vehicles are functioning correctly.
• Provide technical support to customers about their vehicle issues and maintenance needs.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Education

• N4 or equivalent automotive studies
• Advanced Diploma in Automotive Technology is favorable

Experience

• 5 years of experience in a similar automotive technician role

Technical Skills

• Engine Repair
• Suspension Systems

• Time Management
• Communication

Certifications

• Certification from the South African Motor Industry

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Automotive Scanners: Knowledge in using automotive scanners for diagnostics.
• Familiarity with Computerized Systems: Understanding of computerized vehicle systems and their diagnostics.
