Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Specialist to join our Durban team. In this role, you will be responsible for advising our clients on tax strategies, compliance, and regulations. Your expertise in South African tax law will be crucial in guiding individuals and businesses to navigate their tax obligations effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with complex tax compliance and planning for individuals and businesses.
• Prepare and review various tax reports and compliance documentation.
• Stay current on tax regulations to provide up-to-date pricing strategies.
• Advocate for clients in meetings with tax authorities.
• Support financial teams with tax issues in business management.
• Lead tax training sessions for staff and clients.
• Create strategies for effective tax mitigation.
• Provide comprehensive guidance on personal and corporate tax liabilities.
• Assess the tax implications of business decisions.
• Engage in networking with other professionals in the tax industry.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation or equivalent
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a tax advisory role
