Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Description

Join our Cape Town office as a Cybersecurity Analyst. You will monitor and analyze security metrics, lead investigations into security breaches, and collaborate with IT teams to fortify defenses against cyberattacks. We seek a proactive individual with a keen eye for identifying threats and a passion for cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Review and update incident response plans and procedures.
• Track security metrics and provide insights for improvements.
• Develop and conduct simulation exercises to test response efforts.
• Assist in compliance audits and regulatory assessments.
• Support the security operations center with threat intelligence.
• Advise on security solutions for new IT projects.
• Document security incidents and responses for analysis.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop strategy for risk management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's degree in related field is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on threat management
