Job Description

We are on the hunt for a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Johannesburg. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our HR department by managing various aspects of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring excellent interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of labor laws, and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Implement effective recruitment strategies and hire top talent.
  • Manage employee benefits and compensation programs to attract and retain employees.
  • Conduct conflict resolution and mediation efforts when necessary.
  • Oversee the creation of job descriptions and performance management processes.
  • Establish a healthy workplace culture by promoting employee wellness and satisfaction.
  • Assist in organizational development efforts and change management initiatives.
  • Actively engage with employees to understand their motivations and challenges.
  • Prepare and maintain employee records in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze employee turnover metrics.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align HR initiatives with business objectives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or HR Management
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role
