Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents while safeguarding our clients' sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop incident response plans and protocols.
• Provide technical support in security-related issues.
• Ensure data protection across all company platforms.
• Participate in forensic investigations for security breaches.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role

Technical Skills

• Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
• Malware Analysis

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO): Hands-on experience implementing cybersecurity frameworks.
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash): Experience with scripting for automation and security tasks.
