AI/ML Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join our innovative team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will develop and implement machine learning algorithms to drive business insights and solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various machine learning frameworks and be passionate about leveraging data to improve our products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative data solutions.
• Analyze large data sets to extract meaningful insights and refine algorithms.
• Monitor and evaluate model performance, making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain and optimize existing machine learning infrastructure.
• Research and implement new algorithms and tools as they develop in the industry.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or equivalent
• Master's in AI/ML preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in AI and machine learning roles

Certifications

• IBM Data Science Professional Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
