Join our Johannesburg office as an Investment Banker, where you will play a critical role in advising clients on financial strategies, managing mergers and acquisitions, and navigating capital markets. You will leverage your financial expertise to deliver tailored financial solutions that meet client objectives, helping to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on investment strategies and financial planning.
• Lead due diligence processes and manage transaction timelines.
• Engage with clients to understand their financial objectives.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and associates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in Finance is highly advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in investment banking or related financial advisory roles

Technical Skills

• Investment Strategy Development
• Risk Assessment

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Client Relationship Management

Certifications

• ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Language Skills in Afrikaans or Zulu: Fluency in Afrikaans or Zulu is a plus for client interactions.
• Exposure to Private Equity or Venture Capital: Experience in private equity or venture capital financing is highly valued.
