Site Construction Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Site Construction Manager to lead construction projects in Cape Town. You will be responsible for coordinating all site activities, managing a team of professionals, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction teams in the execution of projects.
• Develop site layouts and logistic plans.
• Ensure all work is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
• Foster and maintain strong client relationships.
• Maintain an effective communication channel with all stakeholders.
• Ensure all construction activities meet legal and regulatory standards.
• Oversee financial aspects of projects, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare for site meetings and report site progress to management.
• Assist in hiring and training new staff for site roles.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• Fellowship in Project Management is highly desirable

Experience

• At least 7 years of experience in construction project management
