Job Description

Join us as a Clinical Psychologist where you will be pivotal in developing treatment plans and providing counselling services tailored to our clients' needs. You will enhance the mental well-being of individuals through evidence-based approaches while raising awareness about mental health in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate clients through structured interviews, tests, and observation.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Engage in professional development and continuous education.
  • Conduct psychoeducation sessions for clients and their families.
  • Participate in team meetings and case discussions to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document client interactions per ethical and legal guidelines.
  • Advocate for mental health awareness in the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology or related field
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) is essential.
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
