Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Investment Banker to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be instrumental in advising clients on financial matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising. Strong analytical skills and a commitment to client service are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis and modeling for various transactions.
• Lead the execution of transactions from initiation to closing.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including lawyers and accountants.
• Develop internal reports to guide investment decisions.
• Provide mentorship to junior analysts and interns.
• Engage in business development activities to attract new clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• CFA or MBA preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of progressive experience in investment banking

• Valuation Techniques
• Financial Analysis Tools

Certifications

• CFA Level II
• Certified Business Economist (CBE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
