Job Description

Join our dynamic auditing team as an Auditor in Johannesburg. This position requires an individual who excels in financial reviews and compliance assessments, ensuring accurate reporting and advising on best practices.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess risk management practices.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Engage in client meetings to discuss audit outcomes and strategic planning.
• Conduct follow-up audits to assess the implementation of recommendations.
• Prepare schedules for taxes, and ensure accurate tax filings.
• Act as a liaison between clients and regulatory organizations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CA(SA) or equivalent certification is a must

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in auditing.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of IFRS standards

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving Skills
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in Afrikaans: Bilingual skills would enhance client interactions.
• Experience in forensic auditing: Background in fraud detection and investigation.
