Job Description

As an Automotive and Watercraft Service Attendant (commonly known as a Grease Monkey), you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers’ vehicles are safe, reliable, and running at optimal performance. This position demands a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail and requires effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles and provide recommendations to customers regarding necessary repairs.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their vehicles.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all work performed on vehicles.
• Ensure that work is completed within the specified timeframe and to the required standard.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
• National Certificate in Automotive Repair and Maintenance or equivalent

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with Automotive Technology
• Customer Service Skills

• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent
