Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive School Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of our school in Durban. The successful candidate will ensure that the institution runs efficiently, focusing on improving processes and enhancing the overall educational experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily functions of the school and ensure operational excellence.
  • Design and enforce policies that optimize educational outcomes.
  • Assist in the management and development of staff resources.
  • Ensure the school environment meets health and safety standards.
  • Lead the planning and execution of school events.
  • Work with faculty to ensure the curriculum is effectively implemented.
  • Manage budgets and financial planning for operations.
  • Ensure the school adheres to legal and educational compliance.
  • Evaluate operational systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders including teachers and parents.
  • Assist in staff recruitment and professional development initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Educational Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Master's degree is an advantage
