We are hiring an IT Support Technician in Port Elizabeth. The role involves supporting users with technical issues, carrying out installations, and performing regular maintenance of IT systems. Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support for hardware and software issues.
• Ensure smooth operation of computer systems and network infrastructure.
• Manage IT asset inventory and assist with procurement.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT systems.
• Document technical processes and create user manuals.
• Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware.
• Collaborate with IT team members to improve system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
• Assist in training users on new technologies and applications.
• Respond to IT service desk tickets in a timely manner.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in IT support roles
