Responsibilities

• Create and maintain patient medication profiles.
• Assist in the training and development of pharmacy assistants.
• Participate in community outreach programs and health fairs.
• Resolve medication-related issues with clarification and follow-ups.
• Utilize health information systems to streamline processes.
• Contribute to the formulation of pharmacy policies and protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
• Additional training in Clinical Pharmacy is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years in community pharmacy or retail pharmacy

Technical Skills

• Patient Counseling
• Drug Interaction Analysis

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Bilingual in Zulu and English: Ability to communicate fluently in both languages is a plus.
