Job Description

As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing diseases through laboratory testing. You will be responsible for performing complex tests, analyzing results, and ensuring the accuracy of lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex laboratory analyses to support patient diagnosis.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Develop and implement laboratory protocols to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology and procedures.
• Assist with inventory management and procurement of laboratory supplies.
• Perform troubleshooting and resolution of equipment issues.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to ethical and legal standards in laboratory operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Laboratory Science preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical laboratory experience, with leadership experience preferred
