Job Description

We are seeking a Field Identification Specialist to join our team, responsible for identifying plant and animal species within diverse ecosystems. The specialist will conduct surveys and monitor biodiversity, contributing to conservation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and classify species using advanced field techniques and tools.
  • Analyze ecological data to assess biodiversity and habitat health.
  • Work with conservation groups to implement species recovery programs.
  • Conduct presentations on species identification methods for training purposes.
  • Document changes in species populations and habitats over time.
  • Engage in community conservation programs to raise environmental awareness.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, or a related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of field experience in ecological studies
