Architect (Residential)

Job Description

Join us as a Residential Architect where your creative vision will play a key role in transforming spaces. You'll be working closely with clients to understand their needs and translating these into innovative designs that combine functionality with aesthetic appeal.

Responsibilities

• Architect, document, and finalize residential designs from concept through detailed drawings.
• Engage with clients to articulate architectural ideas and understand their vision.
• Align architectural designs with sustainable practices and local regulations.
• Supervise subcontractors and contractors to ensure adherence to architectural standards.
• Perform post-occupancy evaluations to assess client satisfaction and functionality of designs.
• Keep abreast of industry trends in architecture, design, and technology to ensure innovative practices.
• Assist in business development through proposal writing and client presentations.
• Build relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to facilitate sourcing quality materials.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree or equivalent experience is an added advantage.

Experience

• 5+ years working as a residential architect.

Technical Skills

• SketchUp
• Building Codes and Regulations

Certifications

• Green Building Council Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with local sourcing for building materials: Experience in sourcing sustainable building materials from local suppliers.
