As a Veterinarian at Local Animal Clinic, you will take charge of the health care for our clients' beloved pets. Responsibilities include diagnosing medical conditions, performing surgeries, and ensuring the overall well-being of animals.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary medical services for pets.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage animal health conditions.
• Perform surgeries and other medical procedures.
• Consult with clients regarding preventative care and treatment options.
• Supervise veterinary technicians and support staff.
• Conduct research and continue professional development.
• Perform health checks and routine examinations.
• Assist in the training of junior staff and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years in a clinical setting preferred.

Technical Skills

• Anesthesia administration
• Emergency care

Certifications

• Advanced Veterinary Practice Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
