Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our Cape Town team. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic support to clients facing emotional and psychological challenges. You will develop personalized treatment plans, facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. This role requires excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual counseling sessions to address clients' mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions for various mental health concerns.
  • Assess clients' progress and adjust treatment approaches accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a mental health counseling role
