Popcorn Machine Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Popcorn Machine Operator! You'll be responsible for operating and maintaining popcorn machines to produce high-quality snacks for our guests. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for food production, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all ingredients and equipment are stocked and ready for use.
• Perform weekly checks and maintenance on machines.
• Train new staff on popcorn machine operation and safety protocols.
• Keep accurate records of production and inventory levels.
• Maintain cleanliness of the concession area.
• Engage with customers to ensure a positive experience.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Previous experience in concessions or food service is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Basic math skills
• Basic maintenance skills

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Customer service

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a fast-paced food environment: Experience working in a high-speed production environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment: Must be able to lift up to 25 kg safely.
