Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Civil Project Planner to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will coordinate civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet all quality and time standards. You will be responsible for creating project plans, budgets, and schedules, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning meetings and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure effective resource allocation across projects.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes to regulations.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and communication throughout projects.
• Conduct performance evaluations of project teams and provide feedback.
• Support the financial and administrative aspects of project management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 5 years minimum in civil project planning

Technical Skills

• GIS Software
• Cost Estimation

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
• SACPCMP Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling): Hands-on experience in using BIM tools for civil engineering projects.
• Project Risk Management Certification: Certification focused on identifying and managing project risks.
