Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join the team at HealthFirst Pharmacy in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will work closely with pharmacists to provide excellent service to our customers and assist in the daily operations of the pharmacy. Responsibilities include preparing medications, managing inventory, and providing customer assistance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Prepare compounds and sterile products as needed.
• Document and report medication errors promptly.
• Participate in continuing education and training programs to enhance skills.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Pharmacy or related field

Experience

• 2+ years in a pharmacy environment preferred

Certifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)

Languages

• English: Fluent
