Looking for a passionate veterinarian to enhance our team in Durban. You will be involved in treating and caring for pets, performing routine check-ups, and providing emergency care when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the health and treatment of various domesticated animals.
• Conduct emergency procedures during critical situations.
• Educate pet owners about post-treatment care and preventative measures.
• Develop and implement health and wellness plans for pets.
• Collaborate with local animal welfare organizations.
• Stay updated on veterinary best practices and innovations.

Requirements

Education

• DVM or equivalent Veterinary degree
• Specialization in a veterinary field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in small animal practice

Technical Skills

• Anesthesia administration
• Pain management

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time management

Certifications

• Veterinary Business Management Association (VBMA) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
