Software Tester

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance team in Cape Town. As a Software Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the functionality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain testing environments.
• Identify test requirements and set priorities based on risk assessment.
• Support end-user acceptance testing and gather feedback.
• Maintain an updated knowledge of software testing tools and technologies.
• Accurately report test progress and results to stakeholders.
• Ensure that testing practices align with industry best practices.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior QA staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant Quality Assurance certifications are a plus

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance testing

• Automation Frameworks

Certifications

• Certified Agile Tester (CAT)
• Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
