Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate Civil Engineer to contribute significantly to our projects in Port Elizabeth. You will be responsible for the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering works, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality results that meet client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project planning and design phases to ensure deadlines are met.
• Evaluate engineering designs for adherence to local codes and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bids.
• Utilize advanced engineering tools and software for design simulations.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure quality workmanship.
• Compile and maintain project data and records.
• Investigate and resolve engineering challenges in a timely manner.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineering (PrEng) registration is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering

Languages
