Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Accountant to help manage our financial operations in Cape Town. You'll play a crucial role in the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. Ideal candidates should be proactive and ready to tackle challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
• Develop and assist with budgeting processes and forecasts.
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements and tax submissions.
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Communicate findings effectively to the wider finance team.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation.
• Process invoices and manage payment schedules to maintain cash flow.
• Enhance financial reporting processes through automation and efficiency.
• Participate in strategic planning to align financial goals with business objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Master's degree in Business Administration is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in an accounting role, with a focus on financial reporting

• CPA or equivalent qualification
