Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Technologist to join our medical team. As an Orthopaedic Technologist, you will assist orthopaedic surgeons in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuries and disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support surgeons during surgeries by preparing instruments and ensuring the operating area is sterile.
• Apply and adjust casts and splints following surgical procedures.
• Conduct follow-ups with patients to monitor recovery.
• Educate patients on rehabilitation exercises and self-management.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately.
• Provide recommendations for new orthopaedic devices based on patient needs.
• Act as a liaison between patients and the orthopaedic team.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care progress.
