Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective medication management while providing top-notch customer service. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, counselling patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medication reviews and reconcile discrepancies.
• Implement health promotion and disease prevention programs.
• Advise on compounding medications as required.
• Liaise with suppliers to manage medication stock levels.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement programs.
• Develop patient education materials and resources.
• Assist in prescription medication audits and reviews.
• Engage actively with patients to build trust and rapport.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy environment

• Pharmacy Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
