UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a creative UX/UI Designer to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. As a UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for designing engaging user experiences across various digital platforms. Your role will involve collaborating with developers and product managers to enhance our applications' usability and functionality. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio showcasing their design process and understanding of user-centered design principles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers to translate user needs into product features.
• Create detailed user flows and interaction designs.
• Ensure designs are optimized for performance and usability across different devices.
• Implement user feedback to refine and enhance design solutions.
• Participate in user testing and research activities to gather insights.
• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain documentation of design processes and decisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio

Technical Skills

• Prototyping tools

Certifications

• UX Design Certification by Nielsen Norman Group
• Interaction Design Foundation Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
