Job Description

As an Instrument and Control Technician at Energy Systems Solutions, you will play a vital role in maintaining and troubleshooting our state-of-the-art control systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of our energy generation equipment, contributing to sustainable power solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation and repair of control systems in line with industry standards.
  • Monitor system performance and implement modifications as required.
  • Document maintenance activities and conduct risk assessments.
  • Engage in troubleshooting to fix control system faults quickly and effectively.
  • Provide technical support to operations staff as needed.
  • Maintain a stock of necessary replacement parts and tools.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors during installation projects.
  • Utilize SCADA systems for monitoring and control tasks.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects to drive efficiency.
  • Ensure all instrumentation complies with internal and external standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation
  • Higher certificates in automation are advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years in industrial control systems
