Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in therapeutic practices and will work closely with clients to assess and enhance their mental health. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing counseling services to individuals facing various mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Administer psychological evaluations and interpret results for treatment planning.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary and develop crisis management strategies.
• Foster a therapeutic relationship with clients through empathy and support.
• Stay updated on the latest research and developments in psychological practices.
• Network with local organizations and stakeholders to enhance mental health services.
• Contribute to case discussions and collaborate in treatment planning.
• Assure compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards in practice.
• Mentor junior staff and trainees in clinical practices.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology is an advantage

Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience.

• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Certifications

• HPCSA Certified Clinical Psychologist

Languages

• English: Fluent
