Environmental Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Environmental Consultant to join our Cape Town office. You will engage in environmental impact assessments, policy analysis, and the development of sustainability strategies. Your efforts will contribute significantly to local and global environmental preservation.

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyse environmental data to support decision-making.
• Assist clients in developing effective environmental management systems.
• Conduct field surveys and site assessments to gather data.
• Stay up-to-date with environmental legislation and policy changes.
• Engage with local communities to address environmental concerns.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for clients.
• Draft environmental management plans and reports.
• Advise on renewable energy projects and sustainability practices.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Review and evaluate existing environmental policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree or additional certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in environmental consultancy
