Tax Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Tax Consultant to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for providing expert advice on taxation matters, ensuring compliance with local tax laws, and guiding clients in their tax planning strategies. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of South African tax legislation and experience in dealing with both individual and business taxation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex tax issues and procedures.
• Create detailed reports and presentations for clients.
• Engage with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
• Provide creative solutions for minimizing tax liabilities.
• Offer wealth management advice in relation to tax obligations.
• Lead projects to improve internal tax processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Master's degree in Taxation is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax consulting or corporate finance

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
