Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will work on diverse projects, designing and implementing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver top-notch engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and provide input towards comprehensive designs.
• Design and implement test plans for electrical systems.
• Prepare detailed project documentation including reports and technical manuals.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors regarding equipment specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and team meetings to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Prepare budgets and support the financial management of projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in electrical engineering design.

Technical Skills

• Electrical Load Analysis
• Renewable Energy Systems

• Adaptability

Certifications

• ECSA Certificate
• Lean Six Sigma Certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
