Job Description

We seek an experienced Dentist to join our Johannesburg practice. In this role, you will conduct a variety of dental procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and contribute to our community’s overall oral health goals.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of dental conditions.
• Develop customized treatment plans for patients based on individual needs.
• Perform routine check-ups along with complex dental procedures.
• Promote preventative dental care during patient consultations.
• Foster strong relationships with patients to enhance their comfort.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers when necessary.
• Mentor junior staff and dental students as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of current dental technologies and practices.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Actively participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
• Specialization in Orthodontics is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years in general or specialized dentistry

Technical Skills

• Restorative dentistry
• Orthodontic treatment planning

Certifications

• Infection Control Certification
• Sedation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
