Chemical Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Chemical Engineer to help us drive forward our engineering projects in Vanderbijlpark. You'll be involved in process optimization, quality assurance, and implementing new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies regarding compliance requirements.
• Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within teams.
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure product specifications.
• Monitor health and safety standards in the laboratory and production sites.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in chemical engineering roles
