Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our Durban office. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of environmental regulations and will be responsible for implementing sustainable practices within our projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess environmental impact, conduct audits, and provide solutions for minimizing adverse effects on the environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of sustainable engineering solutions.
• Conduct thorough reviews of environmental regulations and policies.
• Support project managers in integrating environmental considerations into all projects.
• Facilitate training sessions on environmental issues and best practices.
• Develop long-term strategies for environmental stewardship.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in environmental engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in environmental assessment and project management
